This enacted ordinance changes Philadelphia’s zoning rules for stream buffers, waterfront setbacks, and certain overlay districts, and approves a Philadelphia Water Department map identifying protected watercourses. Properties sharing a boundary with a mapped watercourse must provide a waterfront setback at least 50 feet wide for development. The ordinance also revises zoning review procedures and rules for the Delaware River Conservation Overlay District and marine-related industrial uses.

Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by revising certain provisions and definitions, and making technical changes, all relating to stream buffers, waterfront setbacks, and certain overlay districts; and further approving a Water Department Hydrology Map designating watercourses subject to waterfront setback requirements; all under certain terms and conditions.
