The enacted measure approves the seventh amendment to the redevelopment proposal and urban renewal plan for the Point Breeze East Urban Renewal Area, generally bounded by Washington Avenue, Broad Street, Moore Street, and Twenty-fifth Street. The plan provides for acquiring 43 additional properties for residential, recreational, and related uses and for relocation services for individuals, families, and businesses affected by the project; it states that condemnation is not imminent and would depend on available public funds.

Approving the seventh amendment of the redevelopment proposal for the Point Breeze East Urban Renewal Area, being the area generally bounded by the southerly side of Washington avenue on the north, the westerly side of Broad street on the east, the northerly side of Moore street on the south and the easterly side of Twenty-fifth street on the west, including the seventh amendment to the urban renewal plan and the second amendment to the relocation plan, which provides, inter alia, for the additional land acquisition of forty-three (43) properties for residential, recreational and related reuses; the provision of certain relocation services, as required by law and declaring that condemnation is not imminent with respect to the Project.
