This enacted ordinance adds eight permit parking districts, numbered 27 through 34, and creates one-block overlapping areas between districts where permits from either district are valid. It also raises the share of dwelling units that must be represented by petitions to designate a block for residential permit parking or remove that designation from 51% to 60%, affecting residents and drivers in those areas.

Amending Chapter 12-2700 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Permit Parking Districts," by enumerating additional permit parking districts, and by increasing the requirements for designating a block as a residential permit parking block or for removing such designation; all under certain terms and conditions.
