The adopted resolution authorizes Philadelphia City Council to establish the “Trust for Philadelphia’s Future” as a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation. It also authorizes the organization to seek federal tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) to support City Council activities that qualify for that status through private funds rather than taxpayer dollars.
