This enacted ordinance authorizes the Zoological Society of Philadelphia to install, own, and maintain handrails, decorative fences, pedestrian lights, and a parking-management sign along portions of Girard Avenue and 34th Street near the Philadelphia Zoo. The structures may extend into public sidewalks and must comply with city requirements, permits, insurance, and agreements; the Society must remove them at its own expense if the City gives notice for a municipal construction project.

Authorizing The Zoological Society of Philadelphia to construct, own and maintain various encroachments to be installed along Girard Avenue, between 34th Street and the eastbound I-76 ramp under certain terms and conditions.
