This enacted ordinance amends Philadelphia’s Public Employees Retirement Code to exclude participants in certain federally or state-funded grant programs from membership in the City Retirement System when using grant funds for retirement contributions would violate applicable rules. These participants do not contribute to the Retirement System or earn retirement service credit for their work in the grant program.

Amending Title 22 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Public Employees Retirement Code," to provide an exception to membership in the Retirement System for participants in certain grant-funded programs, all under certain terms and conditions.
