The enacted ordinance increases the membership of the Mayor’s Commission on Aging by adding the Philadelphia Police Commissioner, or a designee, and the District Attorney, or a designee. The commission advises on policies and services affecting older Philadelphians, including issues involving elder abuse and other crimes against older adults.
