This enacted ordinance authorizes and directs the City to use up to $66 million from the Fiscal Year 2013 General Fund positive balance to increase the Fire Department’s budget. The money is designated for the minimum undisputed amount owed under the Fire Fighters’ contract and arbitration award, including retroactive compensation and payments through the contract term.
