This enacted ordinance authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to acquire an approximately 100-foot-wide strip of land along the Schuylkill River between 56th and 58th Streets from the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development. Once the City receives the property title, the land will become part of Schuylkill River Park and the Fairmount Park System, subject to terms set by the City Solicitor.
