The enacted ordinance approves the forty-first amendment to the redevelopment proposal for the Model Cities Urban Renewal Area, including updates to its urban renewal and relocation plans. It authorizes the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority to acquire approximately one property, identified as 2024 N. Howard Street, for residential, institutional, and related uses, provide relocation assistance for displaced residents and businesses, and proceed with redevelopment; it states that condemnation is not imminent and depends on available public funds.

Approving the forty-first amendment of the redevelopment proposal for the Model Cities Urban Renewal Area, being the area beginning at the northwest corner of Front street and Spring Garden street, including the thirty-third amendment to the urban renewal plan and the twenty-eighth amendment to the relocation plan, which provides, inter alia, for the additional land acquisition of approximately one (1) property for residential, institutional and related uses; the provision of certain relocation services, as required by law and declaring that condemnation is not imminent with respect to the Project.
