The enacted ordinance authorizes the City to remove and vacate Hope Street between Laurel Street and Pollard Street from the City Plan while reserving a right-of-way there for sewer and drainage purposes. Property owners or other parties involved must meet conditions including granting the right-of-way to the City, covering certain costs, and making or paying for needed changes to utilities and street facilities.

Authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 271 by striking from the City Plan and vacating Hope Street from Laurel Street to Pollard Street and reserving and placing on the City Plan a right-of-way for sewer and drainage purposes within the lines of Hope Street being stricken and authorizing acceptance of the grant to the City of the said right-of-way, under certain terms and conditions.
