This enacted ordinance allows Lee Quach, owner of Lee’s Café & Bistro at 522 Washington Avenue, to maintain a hot air duct extending into the public sidewalk on South Randolph Street to serve the restaurant’s basement commercial kitchen. The permission requires city permits, an agreement with the City, insurance and other conditions, and the owner must remove the duct at the owner’s expense if the City gives required notice or needs the space for a public construction project.

Legalizing an existing hot air duct encroaching on the public right-of-way at 522 Washington Avenue, all under certain terms and conditions.
