This enacted ordinance legalizes an existing architectural planter owned by Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia at 1700 South Broad Street, allowing it to extend into the west sidewalk while leaving 14 feet 8 inches of unobstructed sidewalk. The owner must obtain required city approvals, follow city rules, maintain insurance and other protections, and remove the planter if the City provides notice for a municipal construction project or otherwise requires its removal under the agreement.
