The enacted ordinance amended Philadelphia’s zoning rules for the Benjamin Franklin Parkway Area, setting a 125-foot maximum height generally and allowing maximum heights of 500 feet and 300 feet in two specifically bounded areas. It also allowed retail sales above the ground floor in part of the RMX-3 district if the space has a direct entrance from the ground floor; the ordinance lapsed on December 31, 2016, except for building permits then in effect.
To amend Section 14-502 of the Zoning Code, entitled "CTR, Center City Overlay," and to amend Section 14-602 of the Zoning Code, entitled "Use Tables," under certain terms and conditions.
