Enacted legislation establishes a new Philadelphia Code chapter for Affordable Workforce Housing Opportunity Zones. It allows the City to designate areas as these zones and, with approval by ordinance, make publicly owned properties available for nominal consideration to develop homeownership housing for households earning 80% to 120% of the area median income.

Establishing a new Chapter of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Philadelphia Affordable Workforce Housing Opportunity Zones," authorizing the designation of the City in whole or in part as a Workforce Housing Opportunity Zone; establishing definitions; and authorizing disposition of publicly-owned zone properties for nominal consideration, all under certain terms and conditions.
