This enacted ordinance prohibits anyone other than the City and its designees from selling, leasing, reserving, or helping reserve parking spaces on City-controlled streets, roadways, and cartways. Each sale, lease, reservation, or offer to do so is a separate violation punishable by a $250 fine, and the ordinance takes effect 60 days after enactment.
Amending Title 12, entitled "Parking Regulations and Penalties," of The Philadelphia Code, by adding new rules and penalties for persons who offer for sale or sell, lease, reserve or facilitate the reserving of any parking space located on a street, roadway, cartway, or portion thereof, owned or controlled by the City of Philadelphia, all under certain terms and conditions.
