This enacted bill authorizes Philadelphia to accept ownership of three community gardens at 1114-18 Locust Street, 1127-31 Waverly Street, and 831-839 South Street. It places the gardens under the care and jurisdiction of the Fairmount Park Commission and authorizes the Department of Parks and Recreation to enter into a lease of up to 10 years with the Washington West Civic Association.

Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to accept one or more deeds to parcels of land, located at 1114-18 Locust Street, 1127-31 Waverly Street, 831-839 South Street; amending Chapter 15-200 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Fairmount Park," to include the gardens under the jurisdiction of the Department of Parks and Recreation; and authorizing the Commissioner of the Department of Parks and Recreation to enter into an agreement to lease out such property.
