This enacted ordinance establishes a policy for the Police Department, working with other City departments, to post public Missing Endangered Person Advisory System alerts on City websites and social media accounts that routinely share advisories. The alerts cover people reported missing who were or may have been in Philadelphia, including people at special risk of harm because of a disability or mental impairment, and encourage the public to report relevant information to police.

Amending Title 21 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Miscellaneous", by establishing a policy of posting all Missing and Endangered Persons Alerts on City websites and social media sites; all under certain terms and conditions.
