The enacted ordinance creates the West Washington Avenue Overlay zoning district in an area bounded by specified streets near West Washington Avenue. Within this overlay, it prohibits several types of uses, including correctional and re-entry facilities, adult-oriented services, non-accessory parking, vehicle sales and services, moving and storage facilities, and junk and salvage yards.
Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by creating an overlay district entitled "/WWA West Washington Avenue Overlay," to include certain areas of land within the vicinity of West Washington Avenue, under certain terms and conditions.
