The enacted bill amends Philadelphia’s parking meter rules to set fees for payments made through mobile payment systems. The initial mobile payment must use the posted parking fee, while additional time beyond the posted limit—if allowed—costs twice the initial fee for the next period and three times the initial fee for a second additional period; payments made at on-street meters or kiosks continue to use the regular fees.

Amending Chapter 12-1000 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Parking Meter Regulations and Penalties," to specify the fee for parking meter payments made through mobile payment systems; all under certain terms and conditions.
