This enacted ordinance authorizes the Philadelphia Housing Authority to acquire ownership of numerous properties in the Sharswood area, roughly between 19th and 28th Streets and Cecil B. Moore and College Avenues, through condemnation for housing and related mixed-use purposes. It requires relocation assistance and replacement housing for displaced individuals and families, efforts to reduce hardship for displaced businesses, and compliance with nondiscrimination and fair-practice requirements.

Authorizing the Philadelphia Housing Authority to acquire by condemnation fee simple title to certain properties located in the vicinity of 19th street to the east, 28th street to the west, Cecil B. Moore avenue to the north, and College avenue to the south, under certain terms and conditions.
