This enacted ordinance creates the Woodland Avenue Business District for Sidewalk Vending on both sides of Woodland Avenue between 48th and 58th Streets, with up to 90 designated vendor locations. It allows eligible business associations and nonprofit organizations to hold a single license covering multiple spaces, assign spaces to vendors, and collect approved fees, while setting operating restrictions for vendors in the district.
Amending Section 9-206 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Sidewalk Vendors in Neighborhood Business Districts," by creating the Woodland Avenue Business District for Sidewalk Vending; and establishing special provisions for licensing vendors in certain Business Districts; all under certain terms and conditions.
