This enacted ordinance creates the Temple University District, bounded by Diamond, 10th, Oxford, and 16th Streets, with up to 50 combined locations for sidewalk and street vendors. It limits each vendor or franchise owner to one location and sets rules for permitted blockfaces, vendor licenses, truck and cart size, utilities, operating hours, deliveries, trash, and relocation requests.
Amending Section 9-206 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Sidewalk Vendors in Neighborhood Business Districts," by creating the Temple University District, all under certain terms and conditions.
