READ AND PASSED

This enacted ordinance amended Philadelphia’s home-inspection licensing rules to require inspectors to follow the standards of their certifying professional organization. For residential inspections, inspectors must determine whether the property uses a private sewer or private water main, or clearly state in the report that they did not make those determinations.

Amending Section 9-1302 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Home Inspection License," to add required conduct for home inspectors, all under certain terms and conditions.
