This enacted ordinance adds a $5 fee for each nonexempt vehicle registered to a Philadelphia address, collected by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation when the vehicle is registered or its registration is renewed. The revenue must be used for construction, maintenance, repair, and safety improvements on public highways and bridges.

Amending Title 12 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Traffic Code," by adding a new Chapter 12-3200, entitled "Fee for Local Use," to impose a fee on each nonexempt vehicle registered to an address located in the City, all under certain terms and conditions.
