The enacted ordinance adds licensing conditions for food establishments with permanent locations in Philadelphia. Applicants must identify whether the business is a prepared food shop, take-out restaurant, or sit-down restaurant, and obtain the proper use registration permit from the Department of Licenses and Inspections before receiving a license.

Amending Title 6 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Health Code," by amending Section 6-503, entitled "Licenses and Permits," by adding certain conditions for food establishments to obtain a license; all under certain terms and conditions.
