The enacted ordinance changes zoning rules for Entertainment (Special Purpose) District properties, including allowing properties next to a Sports Stadium District to have 200% more gross floor area and up to 7,000 additional square feet of accessory signs. It also adjusts open-area and permeable-surface requirements for larger sites that have an approved green roof of at least three acres, and took effect immediately.
Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by revising requirements in Section 14-405, entitled "SP-ENT, Entertainment (Special Purpose) District", under certain terms and conditions.
