This enacted ordinance authorized the Procurement Commissioner to arrange fixed-price purchases of electricity and natural gas for City facilities and motor fuel for the City fleet for fiscal years 2018 and 2019. Suppliers had to be competitively selected, and the Commissioner was required to consider advice from the Philadelphia Energy Authority and file annual reports with City Council about the agreements and purchases.

Authorizing the Procurement Commissioner to enter into agreements to purchase electricity, natural gas and motor fuel for use by the City in City facilities and vehicles, including agreements that obligate payment for delivery of such energy supplies in future fiscal years, all under certain terms and conditions.
