READ AND PASSED

This enacted legislation amends Philadelphia’s rules for expediter licenses, including what applicants must disclose and the circumstances that can prevent someone from receiving a license. It also allows the Department to suspend or revoke licenses, requires licensed expediters to file entry-of-appearance forms and service contracts, and requires those contracts to state that expediters are not authorized to practice certain professions unless separately licensed.

Amending Chapter 9-2200 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Expediters," by revising the rules, obligations and procedures pertaining to expediter licenses, all under certain terms and conditions.
