Adopted, this resolution also names the 200 block of South 12th Street, between Walnut and Locust Streets, “Gloria Casarez Way.” The honorary designation commemorates Gloria Casarez’s advocacy for Philadelphia’s LGBTQ community, social justice, housing rights, and economic justice.
