Philadelphia City Council adopted a resolution urging the President and federal immigration officials to create policies that protect undocumented immigrant families, refugees, and asylum seekers who fled violence. It also calls for an immediate halt to mass deportation raids and for immigration policies that preserve families’ unity and safety.

Urging the President of the United States to establish a comprehensive national policy regarding our undocumented immigrants that seeks to preserve and protect families that have fled to this country from situations of widespread violence and depravation and to also prevent future deportation raids that tear apart our communities.
