This enacted ordinance authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to acquire an abandoned swing bridge crossing the Schuylkill River below the Grays Ferry Bridge, along with related supports, abutments, land, or other property interests. Once the City obtains title, the bridge and related properties will become part of Schuylkill River Park and the Fairmount Park System.

Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City, to acquire a bridge that crosses the Schuylkill River below the Grays Ferry Bridge and to acquire rights or property interests in connection with supports for the bridge and its abutments, all under certain terms and conditions.
