This enacted ordinance authorizes SEPTA to construct, own, and maintain one digital outdoor sign at each of several subway, elevated train, and rail entrances in Philadelphia, including in the public right-of-way. The signs may display service and emergency information and advertisements, but may not block the sidewalk or show moving images; SEPTA must obtain required permits and meet insurance, maintenance, and removal conditions.
Authorizing the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority ("SEPTA") to construct, own and maintain digital outdoor advertising signs, encroaching on the public right-of-way at various subway, elevated train and rail entrances in the City, under certain terms and conditions.
