This adopted resolution commends Mayor Kenney for supporting Philadelphia’s status as a sanctuary city and recognizes the contributions of immigrant residents. It also expresses City Council’s continued support for Philadelphia’s immigrant population and rejects the vilification of immigrants.

Commending Mayor Kenney's support and affirmation of Philadelphia's status as a sanctuary city for immigrants and our City's continued support for our immigrant population whom we are privileged to have as part of our community.
