This enacted bill amends Philadelphia’s hospital assessment rules to conform to Pennsylvania law. It excludes certain free-standing acute-care cancer hospitals that qualify for a state exemption and provides that the assessments end on June 30, 2019, or a later date allowed by the state General Assembly.

Amending Chapter 19-3500 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Hospital Assessments," to make changes to conform to State law, including by providing an exemption for certain cancer hospitals, all under certain terms and conditions.
