This enacted ordinance changes the deadline for filing petitions for refunds and authorized requests for credits involving money collected for the City or the School District of Philadelphia. The deadline is three years from the payment date or the payment due date, whichever is later, and applies to taxes, water or sewer charges, license fees, and other charges; it takes effect immediately for later payments and six months after enactment for earlier payments.
Amending Section 19-1703 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Refunds," regarding credits and due dates, all under certain terms and conditions.
