READ AND PASSED

The enacted ordinance changes Philadelphia’s Transit-Oriented Development overlay zoning rules for lots within 500 feet of an entrance to or exit from a designated transit station. It sets new building height, density, ground-floor use, parking, and curb-cut requirements; limits certain vehicle, storage, and parking uses; and revises floor-area and height bonuses for projects that provide public space, mixed-income housing, transit improvements, underground parking, or green-building features.

Amending Section 14-513 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "/TOD, Transit-Oriented Development Overlay District," and Section 14-702, entitled "Floor Area and Height Bonuses," all to revise requirements relating to the Transit-Oriented Development Overlay District, and making related changes, all under certain terms and conditions.
