The enacted ordinance places a one-year limit on the moratorium preventing the Philadelphia Parking Authority from designating additional electric vehicle parking spaces, unless City Council extends it by ordinance. During the moratorium, existing electric vehicle spaces are reserved exclusively for electric vehicles from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.; other vehicles may use them for up to two hours between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Amending Section 12-1131 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Electric Vehicle Parking," to provide for a time limit on the moratorium on new electric vehicle parking spaces, under certain terms and conditions.
