This enacted ordinance authorizes the Philadelphia Department of Streets to designate a buffered bicycle lane in the eastbound direction on Chestnut Street between South 45th and South 34th Streets. It also authorizes removing one travel lane in that section and regulating vehicle and bicycle use there consistent with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation rules.

Amending Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Designation of Bicycle Lanes," by authorizing the Department of Streets to designate a buffered bicycle lane, in the eastbound direction, on Chestnut Street from South 45th Street to South 34th Street, and to remove a travel lane on Chestnut Street in the same limits, under certain terms and conditions.
