This enacted ordinance changes Philadelphia City Council’s rules for fiscal impact statements. Any Council member may request a statement for a pending ordinance, and the statement must be shared with all Council members and made public; a missing statement does not prevent final adoption of the bill. It also requires notices about consideration dates and an explanation when the statement cannot be completed on time.

Amending Title 21 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Miscellaneous," by changing the rules for requesting the preparation of Fiscal Impact Statements and final adoption of bills; all under certain terms and conditions.
