This enacted ordinance repeals Philadelphia Code Section 6-207, which addressed premarital examinations and physician reporting of syphilis test results for people applying for a marriage license. The section is now reserved, removing those provisions from the City Code and affecting physicians, osteopaths, and marriage-license applicants covered by them.
Amending Chapter 6-200 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Preventive Medicine," by repealing Section 6-207 (relating to premarital examinations), all under certain terms and conditions.
