The enacted ordinance repeals Philadelphia Code Section 10-712, which prohibited throwing, dropping, or depositing litter, handbills, or other objects from an aircraft so they fall within the city. The section is now reserved, and the ordinance took effect immediately.
Amending Chapter 10-700 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Refuse and Littering," by repealing Section 10-712 (relating to dropping litter from an aircraft), all under certain terms and conditions.
