This enacted ordinance authorizes moving the south curbline of Carpenter Street between Broad Street and Fifteenth Street to widen the roadway and create a parking lane along much of the south side. It also authorizes a 15-foot-wide public pedestrian area along that side of the street; affected property owners must grant the area to the City and maintain the pedestrian access and paving under specified agreements.

Authorizing the relocation of the southerly curbline of Carpenter Street, from Broad Street to Fifteenth Street on City Plan No. 15-S, a variable distance southwardly, so as to widen the cartway of said Carpenter Street, authorizing the plotting on said City Plan of an area for public pedestrian use extending along the southerly side of Carpenter Street, from Broad Street to Fifteenth Street, and authorizing acceptance of the grant to the City of the said area for public pedestrian use, under certain terms and conditions.
