This enacted ordinance amended Philadelphia’s zoning rules for family and group day care facilities. It sets limits on the number of children allowed in family day care, establishes conditions for group day care in certain residential districts, and prohibits group day care on RSA-5 single-family residential lots in the 9th Councilmanic District.
Amending Chapter 14-600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Use Regulations," by creating regulations for the day care use, and making related changes, all under certain terms and conditions.
