The enacted bill revises Philadelphia’s licensing requirements for food establishments. It creates Large Establishment licenses for locations with 30 or more customer seats, priced at $415, and Small Establishment licenses for locations with fewer than 30 seats, priced at $275; it also sets restroom access requirements and requires the Department of Licenses and Inspections to address certain barriers to customer access and verify requirements for Large Establishment licenses.

Amending Sections 6-301 and 6-503 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled, respectively, "Food Establishments" and "Licenses and Permits," to revise licensing requirements relating to food establishments, including requirements relating to restroom facilities, service and seating; all under certain terms and conditions.
