This enacted legislation authorizes the Department of Streets to designate an eastbound bicycle lane on Race Street between North 8th Street and North 5th Street. It also authorizes removing one eastbound travel lane between North 8th Street and North 6th Street, with vehicle and bicycle rules regulated consistently with state requirements.

Amending Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Bicycle Lanes," by authorizing the Department of Streets to designate a bicycle lane, in the eastbound direction, on Race Street from North 8th Street to North 5th Street, and to remove a travel lane, in the eastbound direction, on Race Street, from North 8th Street to North 6th Street, all under certain terms and conditions.
