The enacted ordinance authorized the City’s Procurement Commissioner and the Free Library of Philadelphia to enter into a sublease with the Philadelphia Municipal Authority for personal computers, related equipment, and maintenance services. The equipment is for public and staff use at 56 Free Library facilities, including neighborhood, regional, and other library locations, with an estimated 2,158 computers leased for about four years and five months, subject to a possible seven-month extension.
Authorizing the Procurement Commissioner and the Free Library of Philadelphia, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into a sublease agreement to lease from the Philadelphia Municipal Authority personal computers and associated equipment, and receive related maintenance and other services, for the use of the Free Library of Philadelphia; all under certain terms and conditions.
