This enacted ordinance authorizes the Philadelphia Department of Streets to create regulations requiring certain private development projects to pave and mill the full adjacent roadway. The requirements may apply when a project disturbs more than 60% of the adjacent roadway or involves new construction or substantial improvements affecting at least 12 adjacent residential lots or properties, or 200 feet of roadway frontage.

Amending Title 11 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Streets," by amending Chapter 11-500, entitled "Paving," by creating Section 11-508, entitled "Private Development Projects," by providing that the Department of Streets may establish regulations to require certain private development projects to pave and mill the adjacent roadway, all under certain terms and conditions.
