This enacted bill adds the intersection of 70th Street and Lindbergh Boulevard to the locations where approved automated red-light enforcement systems may be used. The systems are subject to the existing requirements, including approval by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and agreement by the system administrator and Pennsylvania Secretary of Transportation.
Amending Chapter 12-3000 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Use Of An Automated Red Light Enforcement System To Prevent Red Light Violations," by authorizing the installation of red light enforcement systems at the intersection of 70th Street and Lindbergh Boulevard, all under certain terms and conditions.
