The enacted ordinance changes Philadelphia’s application requirements for commercial activity licenses. Businesses that are not individuals or publicly traded corporations must provide the names and mailing addresses of certain people who own more than 49% of the business, or the two people with the largest ownership interests when no one meets that threshold, and must report changes within 10 business days; knowingly or negligently providing false information can result in penalties.

Amending Chapter 19-2600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Business Income and Receipts Taxes," to modify application requirements for commercial activity licenses; all under certain terms and conditions.
